This film features music by Joseph Bologne, Chevalier de Saint-Georges – who, in his lifetime, was as famous as Mozart, but whose music is only recently starting to gain widespread attention again. The choice of Bologne’s music was inspired by Beverley’s magnificent Georgian heritage and architecture, of the same era – and so we are pleased to share that our forthcoming autumn festival takes this same period as its main theme.
