Huge congratulations to our Founder and Chairman Roland Deller on being made an Honorary Freeman of Beverley. This is the highest accolade the town can bestow, awarded only to exceptional individuals who have made an outstanding contribution to the town.

Last night’s ceremony at the East Riding Theatre was a real celebration of Beverley: there were so many inspiring individuals and organisations recognised with different awards for the work they are doing in the community – amazing people giving their time and energy to make the town the special place it is, and to improve the wellbeing of the people living here. Thank you to Beverley Town Council for a wonderful evening.

Roland’s award is in recognition of his incredible work in the culture and heritage sectors: founding and growing New Paths, spearheading the restoration of St Mary’s Church, and celebrating the town through a huge range of musical, cultural and historical projects that have created real buzz about Beverley both within the town and across the country. Congratulations Roland!
