Dear supporters,

Our second
POSTCARDS video is released today. Featuring Aoife Miskelly and Libby Burgess, this week’s musical miniature is the reflective Woodcutter’s Song by Vaughan Williams from The Pilgrim’s Progress.

It was pilgrimage that caused Beverley to evolve as a town, and this film celebrates that narrative, as well as the benevolent character of our very own St John of Beverley.

Currently rehearsing as Pamina in Die Zauberflöte for Oper Köln, Aoife was extremely popular when she performed in our 2019 spring festival – and also generated one of our favourite photos from that year (with thanks to Pete Fozard):

As last week, you can donate online if you enjoyed this film: you can also now make text donations:

Text NPMPOSTCARDS 3 to 70085 to donate £3
Text NPMPOSTCARDS 5 to 70085 to donate £5
Text NPMPOSTCARDS 10 to 70085 to donate £10
Text NPMPOSTCARDS 20 to 70085 to donate £20
(You will be charged for one standard rate message on top of your donation)

We are delighted that last week’s launch of POSTCARDS caused such a splash, and we hope that you enjoy this second short film in the series.

With all best wishes,

Roland and Libby
